In case medical assistance is needed, doctors and medical practitioners of all disciplines are available in Bali. As they mostly work in one of the well-equipped international hospitals, you can expect fluent English. For smaller needs, there are many pharmacies that cover the usual needs. To make sure that students receive all important information, GoBali holds a special information event about health in Bali for Udayana students. It takes place at the beginning of each semester.

All international students participating in the GoBali program at Udayana University must have travel health insurance coverage valid in Indonesia for the full length of the studies, as well as emergency travel assistance to cover medical and security evacuation. The insurance policy is not yet required at the time of registration. However, it must be available on request at any time.
