Good morning everyone,
some days ago my friends, with whom I live in a Villa, are in the project with Bali Green Surf to organise a charity event for orphan kids on Bali. The event was a huge success. The kids, who were invited to join the event, took happily part at the different activities. I supported my friends by helping to paint the kids faces with country flags from the world cup or coloured the nails of the girls. The kids were so friendly and well behaved, that I enjoyed doing it. Luckily they earned a good sum of money to donate and a lot of clothes donated by all students from GoBali and other organisations. So we decided to visit the children some days after the event to hand over the donation and clothes. The donated money will be used for eductaion. But I should say that they all spoke very well english, even the smaller ones. We were welcomed so heartly. Just at the beginning they took chairs in the middle and placed us there to view singing and dancing perfomances by them. The orphanage looked better, as I imagined, which made me feel quite well. They all looked like a huge family and everyone cares for everyone. When we had to leave on kid took us by the hand to bring us to our car.
It was a very emotional visit for me and I just can hope that further students also think of them and maybe collect some clothes or donations. Especially the orphanages in the north need a lot of more support. Unfortunateley we don´t have the time to go there, that´s why we stayed in Kerobokan. But anyway, if there is a chance. Think of them 🙂
