Selamat! In Bali more than everything I like the fact that each time you visit each place,it can revealed in a utterly different way. I’ve been to Ubud many times, so when a friend of mine asked me to go there again, honestly speaking, I wasn’t impressed, because the previous time there was so boring, as everybody wanted to go to the Monkey forest and watch monkeys. I hate monkeys! Nevertheless, the fact thet we can go to sauna there got me interested in this trip. So, after the sunset to avoid traffic jams and manhunt on the road, we went there. we go through the whole Ubud to the place called “Dragonfly village”. It is very close to the famous restaurant of vegan and organic food “Sari Organic”, right in the rice fields, far from the road. I can’t imagine that sauna will be like that! Just imagine:very dark open space, naked people only in sarongs sitting around fire and crying “Ommmmmm”, common place for changing, cold swimming pool with sea water under the moonlight and, finally, a tiny hamam with the air so hot, that you can hardly breath! That’s the best place to spend the evening with friends and drink ginger tea, sitting half-nakes near the fire, listening to the nature sounds and ”OMMMMMMM”.
