Good evening to all,
first I need to say, that today I had the best experience of my whole time in Bali. My friends and I went swimming with dolphins. We booked this on the Melka Excelsior Hotel in Lovina. The price is quite high, but compared to other destinations that offer this wonderful experience, it is really good. We payed 1100000 rupiah, which includes 20 min swim with the dolphins, a lunch menu of 4 courses and welcome drink and finally a cd with a lot of pictures.
We arrived very early, because we came there by our own car. During the long drive ( 3 hours) you can enjoy the beautiful and natural landscape of Bali with its great looking rice fields and dschungle. At the hotel itself we were welcomed with a fresh drink and went to a gerneral pool because we arrived much too early ( german punctuality) 😀 After relaxing a litle bit, we took our lunch. At 1 o´clock it was time to meet the beautiful, funny animals. Two instructors introduced us to Rocky and Rimbo. The animals looked in a very good condition and their water surrounding was well done! The instructors explained, what we have to do and how we should react. 4 people took pictures of us with professional cameras and our handys. It was so much fun entering the pool the first time and get in contact with the animals. It is unpossible to explain how it was. I just can tell you what we were allowed to do with them: touching them on the back and belly, feeding with fish, dancing 😀 (you get really wet), kissing <3 <3 <3, and swimming.
I think I will never forget, how much fun it was. You had the chance to do things alone and in your group. It is really great if you come with your friends and experience this together. If there are any questions, don´t hesitate to contact me.
On the way back, we stopped at the famous temple Bedugul located at the big lake Bratan, which was directly on our route. Ignoring the masses of tourists, it is worth a visit. You can also go on funny boats on the sea, but we had enough water for today.
Finally we stopped at a local sales booth to buy fresh strawberries, which were veeeery good. In indonesian I would say: Enak Sekali (very delicious)!
Sampai Jumpa 🙂
