This Saturday my mates and me rent a driver to go to the north of Bali. On our way to go there we stopped at different waterfalls. The first one had a little dirty water, but I liked it more than the second waterfall as there were no tourists taking thousands of photos. After two more hours driving on serpentines we finally reached the Gitgit Waterfalls. There are three different waterfalls which are all beautiful. The entry to them was quite high with 50.000 Rupiah. However, of course we went swimming in the water which was pretty too cold. Arrived at Lovina, we searched for a hotel to stay the night. Finally we found one for 300.000 Rupiah per night, but I cannot recommend this one. We had lunch in a restaurant on the beach. Unfortunately the service was not good and the food was neither. But after that we went swimming in the ocean – overlooking the dark brown sand – and enjoyed our perfect sunset of Bali. The sun was like a red, huge ball going down at the horizon. It was absolutely stunning! This moment could not be caught by a camera and we just enjoyed it with our eyes. Like on Nusa Lembongan, there was not so much to do in the evening. That is why we went to bed quite early. At half past 5 in the morning – what a moody morning – we got up in order to play tourists again: we went watching the dolphins. It was a typical fishingboat with a motor. On there we enjoyed our perfect sunrise of Bali. The sun was like a huge orange ball rising up. After a few minutes we saw the first dolphins and I felt so lucky to see them. Although watching the dolphins is a real tourist attraction with pretty to many tourists, I really enjoyed the beautiful sunrise. On our way back to Canggu, we stopped at the Pura Ulun Danu Bratan – the famous watertemple.
Have a nice week and good luck for your bahasa Indonesia exams.
