Hey guys, today was a public holiday, so there was no university. YES !! I got up at about nine o’clock and drove to the Balangan Beach. It’s a quiet beach where mostly surfers hang out and show their skills. There aren’t many tourists at this place, so it’s perfect for relaxing. That’s basically what I am doing most of the time. I focused on tanning and listening to music on that beach day. You better only go for a swim when it’s high tide, because the ground there consists of sharp rocks and corals, so be very careful! I myself had a few wounds from surfing here two weeks ago. Afterwards, I drove to a Surfer Outlet Store on the sunset road with a friend. You definitely have to go there if you like shopping! Here you get a discount of about 40-50% compared to the stores in Seminyak or Kuta. So it’s worth going there. After shopping we searched for something to eat. And finally the moment of truth, we found ourselves sitting in a McDonald’s eating some burgers and french fries. I have to admit, it was a nice alternation to rice and noodles all the time. In the evening we drove to the Skygarden Club because one of my roommates celebrated his birthday there. They have a great all you can eat offer for 50.000 Rupiah (3,50 €) with a delicious buffet. I ate about three kilos of beef 😉 . Also included in this offer are free cocktails between 9pm and 10 pm which is the reason why at this time you will basically find me at the bar. I met two guys from Java who were unbelieveably funny. Hours later they went to the Eikon Club (Hip Hop !) with us which is about 50 meters from the Skygarden. If you like HipHop, go there ! All in all it was again a beautiful day in Bali and I enjoyed every single minute of it. See you, Meikl
