A few days ago, we arrived in Perth, our last stop in Australia before we are going back to Bali. Our flight landed late at night at around 11:55 pm. Unfortunately there where no buses driving anymore, so we had to take a taxi. We were on that flight and not one day before, because it was much more cheaper. But it was actually the same thing with the taxi price. But we didn’t know, that there are no buses going to the city anymore at that time. On the next day, we did a little bit sightseeing, even if there isn’t so much to see. The inner city is like a huge construction zone, cause a lot of building-sites are to be seen at the moment. After visiting the inner city, we went to the swan river, which is indeed beautifully situated. Then we went to Kings Park, which is the city park of Perth and biggest city park in the world. It is even more bigger than central park in New York. From that, you get a beautiful view of Perths skyline. after that, we went to the central station and took the train to Fremantle, which is only 2o minutes away. Fremantle is a beautiful small town, well-known for his “cappuccino strip”, due to the large number of cafés, restaurants and bars. Fremantle has also a nice port, where you can also find a lot of restaurants, especially fish restaurants. We felt very much at home at this small town, because it has a cozy and warm atmosphere.
