Selamat! My holidays continue pretty well. As I promised, I’m going to tell you about place on the west of Bali, called Balian. The legend says that it is named like that, because there was a settlement of shamans and “Balian” in translation is “Shaman”. I don’t know whether it is true or not, but the spirit of something mysterious is present there. The same I can say about waves, they aren’t familiar to anything! Be careful if you want to swim there, the current us very strong and I heard many stories about shark attacks there, but I’ve never seen them myself. There are many places to stay, depending of our comfort level. I usually stay at Ketut’s homestay in the rice fields; it’s a good example of ecotourism. Usually, except surfing, we come there to explore the caves with flocks of bats; it is very thrilling, but still very interesting to watch! The best place to eat there is the café on the top of the hill on Balian beach, it has a great view on the spot and the tastiest vegetable soup and Tempe burger I’ve ever tried!
This Monday I’m leaving to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, oh God I love this city! But the love story about it will be next time. See ya!
ASTAGAA!
