as we told you last week, todas post will be all about the other attraction in Ubud. The Taro Elephant Safari Park.
We were pretty excited about the fact that we would see elephants, can feed and touch them. As we walked into the park we couldn’t really imagine how it would be, but the moment we came around the corner and saw that the elephants were just running around free across the park was absolutely beyond our expectations.
We all wanted a picture with this rare animal, which was breathtaking when it stood next to me. We were given something to eat so that he would stay with us. It was an amazing feeling when the elephant put his trunk towards us and grabbed a sugar cane, on after the other, using the inside of its trunk as storage. As he had enough, he put everything at once in his mouth. Completely happy he was munching his canes and we were taking memorable pictures. Something missing on our bucket list, was a squad foto with the elefant. Here you are, he fits perfectly in the gang.
We had a drink in the restaurant with a view over the whole park until we went to the show, which they announced. It was really funny and cute to watch the elephants play football and shoot the balls into the goal, calculating formulas such as 4 + 2 and splashing water into the crowd. It was a great ending to such a wonderful experience. So it is really recommendable and definitely worth a visit.
Like happy kids, we sat back into the car and drove on to tour next stopps.
Thanks for reading our post today and come back tomorrow, when it’s all about the two day trip to lombok. Have a good night.
As every week, just the best & keep up,
Kristin & Helen
