It’s been a week since first entry. Only a week, but it seems like a month gone! It’s so hard hear to keep track of time, because every day is so unique, despite it is lazy or very active. I think it’s kinda Bali calendar singularity: sometimes day lasts so long and boring, but at the same time it appears that it is already a sunset! I had a week like that, because I’ve been surfing every day, when you do an activity like that time actually doesn’t matter!
Yesterday I went to Bedugul, the North of Bali, it’s the village near lake Beratan, a very touristic and crowded place, nevertheless very peaceful and charming. I adore going there, especially when I am tired of the heat, like I was yesterday. Yes, it sounds weird, the place on Bali where there is no heat, but as I told you, Bali is unique. So, I suppose it was about 20 C there, even colder, because I wasn’t wearing the shoes, my toes were frozen and unhappy. I insistently recommend you to visit Bali Botanical Garden, just to walk around, play some outdoor games, lie on the grass or watch the lake view. It’s a huge forest with enormous number of the trees and plants, and other green beauties. It’s also totally quiet (really no sound, except nature) place, good for meditation or reading, in my case. Be aware, this area is very rainy, so grab some raincoats before going there.
By the way, going there by car is more comfortable, because the road is quite long and, as I said, the possibility of rain is high. Also you can drive through the garden and pick the place to stay. It’s impossible to do this, riding a bike. I don’t know why but, bikes a not allowed to enter, you should leave it on the parking and go on foot into the garden.
After all, keep smiling, it’s the key to every door.
