Petang yang baik daripada Kuala Lumpur! – Good evening from Kuala Lumpur 5 days ago we arrived in Kuala Lumpur – THE shopping destination so far. Kuala Lumpur is one best shopping places in the world – on rank 4. As you all know, you can go shopping in Bali. But once arrived in Kuala Lumpur, you cannot compare shopping on Bali to shopping in here. There are many huge malls where you can spend your money. We stayed in Bukit Bintang, which is very central – and there is a huuuge H&M – store on 3 floors only 200m away! On the third day we went to the Berjaya Timesquare shopping mall. It has 10 floors and you can shop many things – very cheap and very expensive ones. On the fifth floor there is a rollercoaster with a looping. Of course, we had to try this. For 49 RM – around 10 Euros – we could use the rollercoaster as well as other attractions in the intern park. The ride with the rollercoaster was awesome as we could see part of the city from above. It was a special feeling to be inside a house while riding a rollercoaster. Different to Bali, you can use public transport in Kuala Lumpur. In the evening we used the rapid train for around 20 cents to go to the Patrona Twin Towers and the Suria KLCC shopping mall. After having shopped a lot – or let’s say almost too much – we sat down on a man-made lake with many little waterspout fountain. But that’s not all: the little fountains contained many different colours. At 9 o’clock all lights were shut down. Piano music started. The fountain begin to spring. First very slowly but it accelerated with the rhythm of the music. It was so special because the fountain itself sprinkeled in the same rhythm like the music and the coulours changed undescribably every few seconds. Behind us where the Patrona Twin Towers. Really, I’ve never seen something that beautiful with water in my whole life! Tomorrow we go to Thailand and I’m happy to tell you about my experiences there next Wednesday. Have a nice week!
By the way: We found a new travel guide – Father Smurf will join our journey from now on. He’s also very impressed by the water show 😉
